I'm Stephan, a musician and software engineer. I built Loopcast for my band: we wanted our music live on YouTube around the clock, and leaving a computer running all night wasn't going to cut it. So I built a way to stream from the cloud.
Then friends asked to use it. In a single 24 hour window, three different people told me they needed exactly this. That's when I decided to make it real.
With some help, I rebuilt it as real software: reliable, built to scale, and simple enough that you upload a video and a playlist and your channel stays live. It's still mostly me behind it.
